End of Year Update

stealing the idea for an end of year cool things list from

a few cool things that happened in my life this year

1. got into anime and manga for the first time. before this january when my old roommate/best friend got me to watch gekkan shojo nozaki-kun and akame ga kill i had seen pokemon and ouran high school host club. now i've seen.... a lot of anime. both fma animes and bnha are kinda my life atm. also read quiiiteeee a little bit of manga if i do say so myself.
2. switched from rooming with one best friend to rooming with the other best friend. it's a little different but just as good :)
3. hella improved as a vocalist and got to do some fantastic rep in choir
4. wrote 20k for my nano project and technically completely nano if you include fanfiction XD
5. nearing the end of my degree, which is exciting. i only have two more proper semesters and my internship semester and then i am GOLDEN
6. actually have some idea of where i want to take my life now, which. good.
7. visited the best friend in orlando, had a great time with her, went to disney two days. life was good :)

if anyone else is inspired by this, please tag me! i'd love to see how everyone's doing and get to know some of the new friends :)

oh my gosh i would some animu-manga recommendations! i'm nearing the end of the tokyo ghoul manga and the only animes i'm watching at the moment are zombieland saga with my best friend over rabbit (which we're pretty much done with) and sailor moon which i've been working through slowly

Okay, if you're not averse to Tokyo Ghoul, I recommend The Promised Neverland. It's manga-only for now but the anime begins in January, but I would seriously recommend starting the manga. I could not stop reading, the story is excellent.

Also gl with Sailor Moon hahaha. How far in are you??

ooo that sounds cool! i'm five volumes into tokyo ghoul re right now so i can definitely say i'm not averse to tokyo ghoul. i'll need to look into that because if it's similar and you couldn't put it down i will probably love it :)

i'm actually only like eight episodes into sailor moon right now? i watched the entire first season of crystal in a weekend, was informed that crystal was the bad one, and then started the original. i've enjoyed it a lot, i just haven't had a ton of time, you know? and then my laptop keeps breaking down :p what i wouldn't do for a functioning laptop!

Haha awesome! I just mentioned it because Promised Neverland can be a little gory/shocking I guess? So if Tokyo Ghoul doesn't bother you, PN won't either.

And woow enjoy the ride! Yeah Crystal wasn't my fave at all, although in its defense, season 3 gets better. If you want a faithful adaptation of the manga at this point, just read the manga haha. The first season of the original SM anime is kinda slow but the end is just...ooof SO GOOD. There's a lot of filler throughout the whole series but I like how it provides sooo much good characterization for everyone who's not Usagi. Sailor Moon was my childhood haha so I have a lot.....of feelings....hhhh
