As I've been using DW more and getting better acquainted with its strengths and weaknesses, I can say that I definitely prefer it as a place to post my future fic rec lists because it's easier to search my own journal here than my own blog and now that I know the coding tricks (or at least. the beginnings of the coding tricks) I can work with it just as easily. So. I'll be posting some fic rec lists soon. I've never actually done a bnha one and since I've been living in this fandom basically full time for the last six months i think that it's about time i do that

I've really been enjoying having an account here. I've been here for about a month and I've already made some friends. Back when I was a tumblr baby it took like, four months for me to interact with anyone at all, which I think says something about how DW is better at initiating interaction once people find each other :)

I liken Tumblr to Fast Food.. it is plentiful and shiny but it doesn't fill up your soul like real interaction does. And I am not saying that Tumblr is devoid of interactions.. it is just like searching for gold in a place where there are thousands of other miners

Honestly rec lists are great everyone should do them why aren't there more?? What's not to like about wanting to share something you enjoyed :P

I also find dw a lot easier to post on and it's easier to find your old stuff as well. with tumblr everything, including interaction, was so fleeting it might as well not exist.
