so i'm not sure if i've been here long enough for you guys know yet, but superheroes are my SHIT

into the spiderverse has been my favorite movie that i've seen so far this year, by far tbh, but i just saw aquaman tonight and it was pretty great too! there were a lot of really great, memorable parts. while there was some clunky exposition, a lot of clunky dialog, and some boring fight scene stuff, in general i really liked it. the creative and fun stuff outweighed the bad stuff.

if nothing else, my bisexual ass got to look aquaman, mera, black manta and aquaman's hot mom played by nicole kidman for a whole movie. so like. no matter what this was a win

I just saw Into the Spiderverse with my family the other day and I LOVED it! Aquaman is going to have to wait until I get home from visiting my folks, unfortunately - my mother walked out of Into the Spiderverse and declared that she was done watching movies for a while, so getting them to come see it with me is probably a no go. But I'm looking forward to it, and posts like this just make me want to see it more!

What was your favorite part of Into the Spiderverse?

i think that my favorite part was just the animation style. the colors were gorgeous and the movement- the use of action boxes- the use of different styles? it felt like a comic book come to life and i was in HEAVEN
